Our Commitment
LossIntel Inc. is committed to ensuring that ClaimRestored (claimrestored.com and the ClaimRestored platform) is accessible to everyone, including people with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.
Measures We Take
- Including accessibility as part of our design and development process.
- Using semantic HTML5 markup with appropriate ARIA roles and labels.
- Providing keyboard navigation for all interactive elements.
- Maintaining a minimum color contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for all body text.
- Providing text alternatives for all non-decorative images.
- Ensuring all form fields have associated labels.
- Testing with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation.
- Providing skip-to-content links on all pages.
- Using descriptive link text (no "click here" links).
- Ensuring video content has captions where applicable.
Known Limitations
We are actively working to improve accessibility across all pages. Known limitations include:
- Claims Journey interactive visualizations: Some data visualizations on the Claims Journey page may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. Text alternatives describing the key data are provided in the page content.
- PDF reports: AI-generated claim reports are delivered as PDFs. We are working to ensure all PDF outputs are tagged and accessible. Contact us if you need an accessible format.
- Third-party widgets: The Intercom chat widget is provided by a third party. We have flagged accessibility issues to Intercom and encourage them to improve compliance.
WCAG 2.1 Conformance Status
ClaimRestored partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conforms" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, as noted in the Known Limitations section above. Our target is full conformance by end of 2026.
Technical Specifications
ClaimRestored relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- WAI-ARIA 1.1
- JavaScript (ES2022)
